  1. Wasn't quite sure where to post this link that has to do with copyright, perhaps it could be a resource in your ABCs

    Copyright Alliance Education Foundation

Copyright Alliance members have partnered with educational organizations like Weekly Reader, i-Safe and Young Minds Inspired to develop curriculum designed to help you incorporate copyright lessons into your classroom plans.

The following chart will help you identify curriculum options most relevant to your grade level and subject area. Click on © to view each curriculum.

I have not used this, but it appears to be a well developed resource for all grade levels.

  2. Here are a few more resources I came across in my readings today that can be easily incorporated into the classroom:

Top 10 sites for creating surveys

    Quiz Generators

10 Sites for Creating Digital Art

Tech&Learning is a great site with an RSS Feed or Blog which I follow that keeps me posted on the latest technology resources teachers are using in their classrooms.

  3. I love the ABC's! What is the best about the list is that it covers such a wide variety of activities from the most basic to the most creative. This would seriously be something I would consider hanging up in my classroom. Maybe you should print some off and publish it! Well done, thanks to the faculty at your school...

  4. I'm totally impressed by this list, and it's presented in such a way that I can tell it's with the teacher in mind. The "clickers" link seems to be broken for some reason. I checked out the animoto website, and I dare say that it sounds like a pleasing, web-based alternative to IMovie. Very neat that "no two videos are alike". Otherwise, I think it's really sweet that you were able to run-down suggestions that are both practical and doable at the same time. Great work!

  5. Very creative - thanks for compiling the list! It's so interesting to learn about how other teachers integrate technology and plant seeds for how we might do the same in the future.

Nice use of the blog format to include a lot more information via links for the ones that interest the particular reader!

  6. yeah for collaboration!!! I think this format would be a great activity for teachers to do in those last days of class meetings at the end of the year. THey could split into groups and brainstorm ideas of how to use technology in the classroom and then get together with the lists, delete the repeated ideas, and compile them into one large list.

It would give the teachers something to look into over the summer in preparation for next year. I think it would also present the teachers with a multitude of ideas to springboard off of with other ideas.

  7. I think lists like this are great for blog articles. It is a very quick and easy way to publish and to read information and ideas. Although, it is easy to do lists, bullet points, etc. every time you write an article, and I would not recommend writers do this for EVERY single blog post.

Thank you very much for including links in the list. There were some tools that I have never heard of that I will definitely go check out.

Great list! Did your colleagues enjoy helping you put this list together?

  8. One more comprehensive resource to add to the list of Web2.0 technologies that a collaborative group of teachers use in their classrooms.
